    In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act and OMB Guidelines, 
the National Science Foundation is posting a notice of information 
collection that will affect the public. Interested persons are invited 
to submit comments by January 31, 1995. Copies of materials may be

    Title: Baseline Data for the Young Scholars Program.
    Affected Public: Individuals.
    Respondents/Reporting Burden: 38,150 respondents: average 14 
minutes per response.
    Abstract: NSF needs this information to establish baseline data on 
its Young Scholars Program. This will allow for the assessment of 
program impact after enough time has elapsed to allow for observable 
results, including the influence of participation on career selection. 
The affected individuals are students in the projects.
