Pine Needle LNG Company, LLC; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC
    Gas Tariff Filing

    December 22, 1999.
Take notice that on December 15, 1999, Pine Needle LNG Company, LLC
(Pine Needle) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff,
Original Volume No. 1, First Revised Sheet No. 50. The effective date
for the tariff sheet is February 1, 2000.
Pine Needle states that the purpose of the instant filing is to
revise Sections 7 (b) and (c) of the General Terms and Conditions of
Pine Needle's Original Volume No. 1 Tariff to provide that the interest
rate to be applied to unpaid amounts due from Customers and to
overcharges by Pine Needle shall be the interest rate provided under 18
CFR 154.501(d)(1). This revision will conform Pine Needle's tariff to a
common business practice being adopted by Pine Needle and its
interstate affiliates, which is anticipated to be effective on Pine
Needle's System February 1, 2000. In addition, Pine Needle's revision
to such interest calculation is consistent with the interest
calculation method reflected in the tariffs of numerous other
    pipelines.
Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy
    Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426,
in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's
Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be file in
accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations.
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants
parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party must
file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the
Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public
Reference Room. This filing may be viewed on the web at http://
