Environmental Review for Renewal of Nuclear Power Plant Operating 
Licenses; Correction

AGENCY: Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

ACTION: Final rule: Correction.

SUMMARY: This document corrects a final rule appearing in the Federal 
Register on December 18, 1996 (61 FR 66537), that amends regulations on 
the environmental review of applications to renew the operating 
licenses of nuclear power plants. This action is necessary to remove an 
unnecessary amendatory instruction and to correct an erroneous 
amendatory instruction.

EFFECTIVE DATE: January 17, 1997.
