    Rehabilitation Continuing Education Programs
    
        Notice inviting applications for new awards for fiscal year (FY) 
    1995.
        Purpose of Program: The Rehabilitation Continuing Education 
    Programs are designed to support training centers that serve either a 
    Federal region or another geographical area and provide for a broad 
    integrated sequence of training activities throughout a multi-State 
    geographical area.
        Eligible Applicants: Applications are invited for the provision of 
    training for Department of Education Regions I, III, VI, and VIII only.
        Deadline for Transmittal of Applications: February 28, 1995.
        Deadline for Intergovernmental Review: April 29, 1995.
        Applications Available: December 29, 1994.
        Available Funds: $2,000,000.
        Estimated Range of Awards: $490,000-510,000.
        Estimated Average Size of Awards: $500,000.
        Estimated Number of Awards: 4.
    
        Note: The Department is not bound by any estimates in this 
    notice.
    
        Project Period: Up to 60 months.
        Applicable Regulations: (a) The Education Department General 
    Administrative Regulations (EDGAR) in 34 CFR Parts 74, 75, 77, 79, 80, 
    81, 82, and 86; and (b) The regulations for this program in 34 CFR Part 
    389.
        Priorities: The priority in the notice of final priorities for this 
    program, as published elsewhere in this issue of the Federal Register 
    applies to this competition. For the purpose of this notice, the 
    Secretary designates that priority as absolute for FY 1995. Under an 
    absolute priority the Secretary funds only applications that meet the 
    priority (34 CFR 75.105(c)(3)).
