Annualized Cost to the Federal Government

Federal reimbursement under title IV-E will be available for a portion of the costs that state title IV-E agencies will incur because of the revisions in this final rule and actual costs will vary, depending on each agency's cost allocation, information system, and other factors. ACF estimates that it would cost the Federal government approximately $2,486,304 for reimbursement. For this estimate, ACF used the 50 percent Federal financial participation (FFP) rate thus, we estimate the costs for Federal and non-Federal to be the same.
