Notice Pursuant to the National Cooperative Research and
Production Act of 1993--Financial Services Technology Consortium, Inc.
Notice is hereby given that, on August 18, 1995, pursuant to
Section 6(a) of the

National Cooperative Research and Production Act of 1993, 15 U.S.C.
Sec. 4301 et seq. (``the Act''), Financial Services Technology
Consortium, Inc. (the ``Consortium'') has filed written notifications
simultaneously with the Attorney General and the Federal Trade
Commission disclosing changes in its membership. The notifications were
filed for the purpose of extending the Act's provisions limiting the
recovery of antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages under specified
circumstances. The following party has been admitted as a Principal
Member of the Consortium: Glenview State Bank, Glenview, IL. The
following parties were admitted as Associate Members of the Consortium:
Tandem Computers Inc., Cupertino, CA; First Virtual Holdings, Inc., San
Diego, CA; IRE, Inc., Baltimore, MD; InfoStructure Services &
Technology, Inc., Ames, IA; Hewlett Packard Company, Cupertino, CA;
CUNA & Affiliates, Madison, WI; GTE Government Systems Corporation,
Needham, MA; and Ford Motor Credit Co., Dearborn, MI. The following
parties were admitted as Advisory Members of the Consortium: Northeast
Parallel Architectures Center, Syracuse, NY; Bank Administration
Institute, Chicago, IL; American Bankers Association, Washington, DC;
and the MITRE Corporation, McLean, VA. The following party has
terminated its membership in the Consortium: Columbia University, New
York, NY.
No other changes have been made in either the membership or planned
activity of the Consortium. Membership remains open, and the Consortium
intends to file additional written notifications disclosing all changes
in membership.
On October 21, 1993, the Consortium filed its original notification
pursuant to Section 6(a) of the Act. The Department of Justice
published a notice in the Federal Register pursuant to Section 6(b) of
the Act on December 14, 1993 (58 FR 65399).
The last notification was filed with the Department on June 15,
1995. A notice for this filing has not yet been published in the
Federal Register.
