On November 29, 2024, the Commission issued an order in Docket No. EL25-19-000, pursuant to section 206 of the Federal Power Act (FPA), 16 U.S.C. 824e, instituting an investigation to determine whether the depreciation rates proposed by Evergy Kansas Central, Inc., Evergy Kansas South, Inc. and Evergy Metro, Inc. are unjust, unreasonable, unduly discriminatory or preferential, or otherwise unlawful. Evergy Kansas Central, Inc., 189 FERC ¶ 61,153 (2024).
The refund effective date in Docket No. EL25-19-000 established pursuant to section 206(b) of the FPA, will be the ( print page 96957) date of publication of this notice in the Federal Register .
