    Mississippi River Transmission Corporation; Notice of Proposed 
    Changes in FERC Tariff
    
    December 1, 1995.
        Take notice that on November 28, 1995, Mississippi River 
    Transmission Corporation (MRT) tendered for filing to become part of 
    its FERC Gas Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff 
    sheets, with a proposed effective date of December 1, 1995:

    First Revised Sheet No. 252
    Original Sheet No. 256
    Original Sheet No. 257
    Original Sheet No. 258
    Original Sheet No. 259
    Original Sheet No. 260
    
        MRT states that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the 
    Commission's new regulations issued in Order No. 582 which requires a 
    pipeline to provide an Index of Customers in their FERC Gas Tariff if 
    it is not in compliance with the electronic reporting requirements of 
    Sections 284.106 and 284.223. MRT states that it is also submitting a 
    revised Title Page reflecting the addition of a telephone and fax 
    number, and Fifth Revised Sheet No. 8 correcting an erroneous footnote 
    reference.
        MRT states that copies of its filing have been mailed to all of its 
    affected customers and the State Commissions of Arkansas, Missouri and 
    Illinois.
        Any person desiring to be heard or protect the subject filing 
    should file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in 
    accordance with Secs. 385.211 and 385.214 of the Commission's Rules of 
    Practice and Procedure, 18 CFR 385.211 and 385.214. Pursuant to 
    Sec. 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations, all such motions and 
    protests should be filed not later than 12 days after the date of the 
    filing noted above. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
    determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
    make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to 
    become a party must file a motion to intervene.
        Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and available 
    for public inspection.
