Picker International, Inc., Cleveland, OH; Amended Certification
Regarding Eligibility To Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance

In accordance with section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C.
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Notice of Certification
Regarding Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on June
30, 1995, applicable to all workers of Picker International, Inc.,
engaged in employment related to the production of medical imaging
equipment in Cleveland, Ohio. The notice was published in the Federal
    Register on July 19, 1995 (60 FR 37083).
At the request of the State Agency, the Department reviewed the
certification for workers of the subject firm. The workers produce
medical imaging equipment. New findings show that the support workers
(sales, service and administrative) of the subject firm, located in
various States, should have been included. The intent of the
Department's certification is to include all workers of Picker
International, Inc. who were adversely affected by increased imports.
