Lear Corp., Formerly Known as United Technologies Automotive,
Zanesville, Ohio; Notice of Termination of Investigation

In accordance with section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C.
2273) as amended by the Omnibus Trade and Competitiveness Act of 1988
(Pub. L. 100-418), the Department of Labor herein presents the results
of an investigation regarding certification of eligibility to apply for
    worker adjustment assistance.
The investigation was initiated in response to a petition received
on November 22, 1999 and filed on behalf of workers at Lear Corp.,
    Zanesville, Ohio.
The investigation revealed that the petitioning group of workers is
subject to an ongoing investigation for which a determination has not
yet been issued (TA-W-37,033). Consequently, further investigation in
this case would serve no purpose, and the investigation has been
    terminated.

Signed in Washington, DC, this 27th day of November, 1999.
    Grant D. Beale,
Program Manager, Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance.
