Provision of Assistance to Jordan for Fiscal Year 
                1994

                Memorandum for the Secretary of State

                By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 539 
                of the Foreign Operations, Export Financing, and 
                Related Programs Appropriations Act, 1994 (Public Law 
                103-87), I hereby determine and certify that furnishing 
                assistance to Jordan from funds appropriated or 
                otherwise made available under that Act is in the 
                national interest of the United States.

                You are authorized and directed to transmit this 
                determination to the Congress and to publish it in the 
                Federal Register.
