El Paso Natural Gas Company; Notice of Technical Conference

February 4, 1998.
    On January 23, 1998, the Commission issued an order in Docket No. 
RP97-287-010 requiring that a technical conference be convened to 
address El Paso Natural Gas Company's proposed transportation contracts 
with Natural Gas Clearing House. The technical conference will afford a 
convenient opportunity to also address an issue in Docket No. CP97-667-
001 as to the actual or potential role of Southern California Gas 
Company as a ``gatekeeper'' at the Topock delivery point.
    The technical conference will convene at 10:00 a.m. on March 3, 
1998, at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, 
NE., Washington, DC, in a room to be designated at that time.
