ANR Pipeline Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
Tariff

February 5, 1998.
    Take notice that on February 2, 1998, ANR Pipeline Company (ANR) 
tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised 
Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheet proposed to become 
effective January 1, 1998:

Fifth Revised Sheet No. 92

    ANR states that the above-referenced tariff sheet is being filed in 
compliance with the Commission's order dated December 31, 1997, in the 
referenced proceeding to revise Sec. 1.68 of the General Terms & 
Conditions of its tariff to specify that, for a two-year trial period, 
the determination of ANR's Transporter's Use (%) as reflected in the 
fuel matrix in its tariff will be based upon transactional throughput 
determinants.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Sec. 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Sec. 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will 
be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action 
to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
