New York; Amendment to Notice of a Major Disaster Declaration
AGENCY: Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This notice amends the notice of a major disaster for the
State of New York, (FEMA-1095-DR), dated January 24, 1996, and related
determinations.
EFFECTIVE DATE: February 5, 1996.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The notice of a major disaster for the State
of New York, is hereby amended to include the following areas among
those areas determined to have been adversely affected by the
catastrophe declared a major disaster by the President in his
declaration of January 24, 1996:
The counties of Albany, Allegany, Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chenango,
Cortland, Dutchess, Montgomery, Orange, Rensselaer, and Tompkins for
Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation Assistance (already
designated for Individual Assistance).
The counties of Franklin, Jefferson, Lewis, Livingston, Madison,
Ontario, Putnam, Schuyler, Washington, Wyoming and Yates

for Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation Assistance.
