SUMMARY: The Wallowa-Whitman National Forest gave notice that an
environmental impact statement would be prepared for three timber sales
and other related projects within the La Grande Ranger District. The
Notice of Intent was published in the January 2, 1991, Federal Register
    (56 FR 13106) and revised April 30, 1992 (57 FR 18465). Change of
Forest Plan direction in Regional Forester Forest Plan Amendments 1 and
2 invalidated the Five Points Timber Sales proposal. The decision was
made to postpone this environmental analysis. This notice is hereby
    rescinded.
