Notice of Federal Advisory Committee meeting.

SUMMARY:

The DHS Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee will meet on March 9, 2011, in Washington, DC. The meeting will be open to the public.

DATES:

The DHS Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee will meet on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Please note that the meeting may end early if the Committee has completed its business.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

Notice of this meeting is given under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), 5 U.S.C. App. 2. During the meeting, the Chief Privacy Officer will provide the DHS Data Privacy and Integrity Advisory Committee an update on the activities of the DHS Privacy Office. In support of the Committee's ongoing advice to the Department on implementing privacy protections in DHS operations, the Committee will also hear and discuss presentations on the Obama Administration's cybersecurity efforts, on United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) implementation of DHS privacy policy, and on privacy protections for the Department's use of social media. The agenda will be posted in advance of the meeting on the Committee's Web site at http://www.dhs.gov/​privacy. Please note that the meeting may end early if all business is completed.

If you wish to attend the meeting, please plan to arrive by 12:45 p.m. to allow extra time to be processed through security, and bring a photo ID.
