Intrastate Rail Rate Authority--Mississippi

AGENCY: Interstate Commerce Commission.

ACTION: Notice of provisional recertification.

SUMMARY: The State of Mississippi has filed an application for 
recertification. The Commission, under State Intrastate Rail Rate 
Authority, 5 I.C.C.2d 680, 685 (1989), provisionally recertifies the 
State of Mississippi to regulate intra-state rail rates, 
classifications, rules, and practices. After its review, the Commission 
will issue a recertification decision or take other appropriate action.

[[Page 9050]] DATES: This provisional recertification will be effective 
on February 16, 1995.
