Filing of State Quantity Grant Application; Utah
AGENCY: Bureau of Land Management, Interior.
ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: On December 12, 1996, the State of Utah filed quantity grant
application, UTU-76019, UTU-76020, and UTU-76021, to have 35.00 acres
of federally-owned land and interest in land transferred to the State
of Utah under the provisions of Section 7, Section 12, and Section 8,
respectively, of the Act of July 16, 1894 (28 Stat. 109), and pursuant
to 43 CFR part 2622.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The lands containing the federally-owned
lands and interests in land included in this application are described
as follows:

Sec. 8, NW\1/4\SW\1/4\SE\1/4\SW\1/4\, NW\1/4\SE\1/4\SW\1/4\,
NW\1/4\NE\1/4\SE\1/4\SW\1/4\, NW\1/4\NW\1/4\SE\1/4\, NW\1/4\SE\1/
4\NE\1/4\.
The area described contains 35.00 acres located in Washington
County.
The filing of this application segregates the federally-owned lands
and interests in land from all forms of appropriation under the public
land laws, including the mining laws but not the mineral leasing act.
This segregative effect shall terminate upon the issuance of a document
of conveyance to these federally-owned lands and interests in lands, or
upon the publication in the Federal Register of a notice of termination
of the segregation, or upon the expiration of two years from the date
of the filing of this application, whichever occurs first.
