Virginia; Amendment to Notice of a Major Disaster Declaration

AGENCY: Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This notice amends the notice of a major disaster for the 
Commonwealth of Virginia, (FEMA-1098-DR) dated January 27, 1996, and 
related determinations.

EFFECTIVE DATE: February 9, 1996.

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT: Pauline C. Campbell, Response and 
Recovery Directorate, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Washington,

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The notice of a major disaster for the 
Commonwealth of Virginia, is hereby amended to include the following 
areas among those areas determined to have been adversely affected by 
the catastrophe declared a major disaster by the President in his 
declaration of January 27, 1996:

Highland County for Individual Assistance (already designated for 
Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation);
Warren County and the Cities of Buena Vista and Harrisonburg for 
Public Assistance (already designated for Individual Assistance and 
Hazard Mitigation); and
Fauquier and Greene Counties and the City of Clifton Forge for 
Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation.
