Equitrans, L.P.; Notice of Proposed Tariff Changes

February 19, 1999.
    Take notice that on February 17, 1999, Equitrans, L.P. (Equitrans), 
3500 Park Lane, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15275, filed its Original 
Volume No. 1 FERC Gas Tariff to be effective November 19, 1998. The 
proposed Tariff reflects the fact that Equitrans is now a limited 
partnership. The proposed Tariff is on file with the Commission and 
open to public inspection.
    On May 22, 1996, Equitrans, L.P. and Equitrans, Inc. filed jointly 
t permit the transfer of facilities and services to a limited 
partnership structure. On October 20, 1998, the Commission approved the 
proposed transfer. One of the conditions of that approval directed 
Equitrans to refile its FERC Gas Tariff.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's 
Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests should be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must file a motion 
to intervene. This filing may be viewed on the web at http://
