SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: In January 19, 1996, the Service announced

Application for an Incidental Take Permit from Brett Real Estate,
Robinson Development Company, Incorporated (61 FR 1400). The permit
number PRT-809898 was assigned to the application. Within the
Supplementary Information of the original Federal Register notice, a
statement was made that: ``The Applicant's property contains designated
critical habitat for the Alabama beach mouse (ABM).'' Upon review of
the designated critical habitat of the ABM (Sec. 17.95(a) of title 50,

encompassed by the pending application does not contain designated
critical habitat for the ABM. The statement is in error and is not
germane to the Service's review of the application for effects to the
ABM. Comments on the application must be received on or before February
