Agency Information Collection: Submission for OMB Review, Comment 
Request

AGENCY: National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

SUMMARY: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has 
submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) the following 
proposal for the collection of information under the provisions of the 
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35).

DATES: Comments on this proposal should be received by March 28, 1997.

ADDRESSES: All comments should be addressed to Mr. Bill Comer, National 
Aeronautics and Space Administration, Code QS, Washington, DC 20546-
0001. All comments will become a matter of public record and will be 
summarized in NASA's request for OMB approval.

    Title: NASA Safety Reporting System (NSRS).
    Need and Uses: The NSRS form may be used by NASA employees, NASA 
contractor employees, and others for voluntary and confidential 
reporting to an independent agent any safety concerns or hazards 
pertaining to any NASA program or project.
    Affected Public: Federal Government, Business or other for-profit, 
Not-for-profit institutions, State, Local or Tribal Government, 
Individuals or households.
    Estimated Number of Respondents: 75.
    Responses Per Respondent: 1.
    Estimated Annual Responses: 19.
    Estimated Hours Per Request: .25.
    Estimated Annual Burden Hours: 19.
