Williston Basin Interstate Pipeline Company; Notice of Interim 
Refund

February 20, 1997.
    Take notice that on November 1, 1996, Williston Basin Interstate 
Pipeline Company (Williston Basin) filed its Report of the Interim 
refund and the amount of the refund broken out to show principal and 
interest.
    Williston Basin states that the total refund amount distributed to 
customers is $6,038,687.05.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with 18 CFR 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests should be filed 
on or before February 27, 1997. Protests will be considered by the 
Commission in determining appropriate action to be taken, but will not 
serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Copies of this 
filing are on file with the Commission and are available for public 
inspection in the public reference room.
