Closed Meeting

    Pursuant to Section 10(d) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as 
amended (5 U.S.C. Appendix 2), notice is hereby given of the following 
meetings:

    Purpose/Agenda: To review and evaluate grant applications.
    Name of Committee: National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and 
Alcoholism Special Emphasis Panel.
    Dates of meeting: March 31, 1997.
    Time: 9:30 a.m.
    Place of meeting: Hyatt Regency, 7400 Wisconsin Avenue, 
Bethesda, MD 20814.
