    Cinergy Services, Inc.; Notice of Filing
    
    February 20, 1998.
        Take notice that on February 10, 1998, Cinergy Services, Inc. 
    (Cinergy), tendered for filing on behalf of its operating companies, 
    The Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company (CG&E) and PSI Energy, Inc. 
    (PSI), an Interchange Agreement, dated February 1, 1998, between 
    Cinergy, CG&E, PSI and Griffin Energy Marketing, L.L.C. (Griffin).
        The Interchange Agreement provides for the following service 
    between Cinergy and Griffin:
    
    1. Exhibit A--Power Sales by Griffin
    2. Exhibit B--Power Sales by Cinergy
    
        Cinergy and Griffin have requested an effective date of one day 
    after this initial filing of the Interchange Agreement.
        Copies of the filing were served on Griffin Energy Marketing, 
    L.L.C., the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, the Kentucky Public 
    Service Commission, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the 
    Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
    in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of 
    Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 18 CFR 385.214). All such 
    motions or protests should be filed on or before March 5, 1998. 
    Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
    appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
    parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
    file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
    Commission and are available for public inspection.
