Extension of Time Limits for Preliminary Results
The Department of Commerce received a request to conduct an
administrative review of the antidumping duty order on certain
corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products and certain cut-to-
length carbon steel plate from Canada. On September 29, 1998 (63 FR
51893), the Department initiated this antidumping administrative review
covering the period August 1, 1997 through July 31, 1998.
Because of the complexity of certain issues, it is not practicable
to complete this review within the time limits mandated by section
751(a)(3)(A) of the Act. Therefore, in accordance with that section,
the Department is extending the time limits for the preliminary results
from May 3, 1999, to July 30, 1999. The final results continue to be
due 120 days after the date of publication of the preliminary results.
This extension of time limits is in accordance with section
751(a)(3)(A) of the Act.
Dated: February 18, 1999.
