Certain Welded Stainless Steel Pipe From Taiwan, Antidumping Duty
Administrative Review; Time Limit
AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration,
Department of Commerce.
ACTION: Notice of Extension of Time Limit.

SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce (the Department) is extending the
time limit for the final results of the third administrative review of
the antidumping duty order on welded stainless steel pipe from Taiwan.
The review covers one manufacturer/exporter of the subject merchandise
to the United States, Ta Chen Stainless Pipe Company, Ltd., and the
period

December 1, 1994 through November 30, 1995.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Department initiated this administrative
review on February 1, 1996 (61 FR 3670). On September 12, 1996, we
extended the time limit for the preliminary results of administrative
review. See Notice of Extension of Time Limits, 61 FR 48126. On January
10, 1997, we published in the Federal Register the preliminary results
of this administrative review (62 FR 1435).
Because it is not practicable to complete this review within the
time limits mandated by section 751(a)(3)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930,
as amended by the Uruguay Round Agreements Act of 1994, the Department
is extending the time limit for completion of the final results until
July 8, 1997. See Memorandum from Joseph A. Spetrini to Robert S.
LaRussa, on file in Room B-099 of the Main Commerce Building. The
deadline for the final results of review will now be July 8, 1997
(i.e., 180 days after the publication of our preliminary results).
This extension is in accordance with section 751(a)(3)(A) of the
Tariff Act of 1930, as amended.
