PacifiCorp; Notice of Filing

February 23, 1998.
    Take notice that on February 12, 1998, PacifiCorp tendered for 
filing in accordance with 18 CFR 35 of the Commission's Rules and 
Regulations, Non-Firm and Short-Term Firm Point-to-Point Transmission 
Service Agreements with American Electric Power Co., Inc. (AEP) under 
PacifiCorp's FERC Electric Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 11.
    Copies of this filing were supplied to AEP, the Washington 
Utilities and Transportation Commission and the Public Utility 
Commission of Oregon.
    A copy of this filing may be obtained from PacifiCorp's Regulatory 
Administration Department's Bulletin Board System through a personal 
computer by calling [phone] (9600 baud, 8 bits, no parity, 1 
stop bit).
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of 
Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 18 CFR 385.214). All such 
motions or protests should be filed on or before March 6, 1998. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection.
