Operating Out of the Following Field Offices; Amended Certification
Regarding Eligibility To Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance
In the Matter of TA-W-30, 331I Chapel Hill, Texas, TA-W-30,
331J Midland, Texas, TA-W-30, 331K Borger, Texas, TA-W-30, 331L
Houston, Texas.

In accordance with section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C.
2273) the Department of Labor issued a Certification of Eligibility to
Apply for Worker Adjustment Assistance on November 10, 1994, applicable
to all workers of Kerr-McGee Corporation headquartered in Oklahoma
City, Oklahoma. The notice was published in the Federal Register on
December 9, 1994 (59 FR 63823). The certification was subsequently
amended to cover workers of the subject firm in other locations, and
was published in the Federal Register on August 9, 1995 (60 FR 40614).
At the request of the Company, the Department reviewed the subject
certification for workers of the subject firm. New findings show that
worker separations have occurred at the Kerr-McGee Corporation
locations in Chapel Hill, Midland, Borger, and Houston, Texas.
Accordingly, the Department is amending the certification to cover
these workers.
The intent of the Department's certification is to include all
workers of Kerr-McGee Corporation who were adversely affected by
increased imports.
The amended notice applicable to TA-W-30, 331 is hereby issued as
follows:
``All workers of Kerr-McGee Corporation, headquartered in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (TA-W-30, 331) engaged in the production of
crude oil and natural gas who became totally or partially separated
from employment on or after July 31, 1994 are eligible to apply for
adjustment assistance under Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974.''
``All workers of Kerr-McGee Corporation, at the below cited
locations engaged in the production of crude oil and natural gas who
became totally or partially separated from employment on or after
August 17, 1993 are eligible to apply for adjustment assistance
under Section 223 of the Trade Act of 1974:
TA-W-30, 331I Chapel Hill, Texas,
TA-W-30, 331J Midland, Texas,
TA-W-30, 331K Borger, Texas,
TA-W-30, 331L Houston, Texas.
