Statutory Reimbursement for Land

AGENCY: Department of the Air Force, Department of Defense.

ACTION: Final rule; withdrawal.

SUMMARY: The Department of the Air Force is amending Title 32, Chapter 
VII of the CFR by removing Part 843, Statutory Reimbursement for Land. 
The Corps of Engineers acts as the Air 

[[Page 4352]]
Force's real estate agent in acquiring land and routinely exercises the 
Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies 
Act of 1970, 42 U.S.C. Sec. 4601 et. seq., to authorize payment of 
relocation costs. Since 32 CFR Part 843 is no longer used for this 
purpose, it is removed from the Code of Federal Regulations.

EFFECTIVE DATE: February 6, 1996.
