Adjudicatory Proceedings Before the Commission
AGENCY: Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
ACTION: Conforming amendment.

SUMMARY: This document contains an amendment to 17 CFR part 148 to
reflect changes required by enactment of the Futures Trading Practices
Act of 1992.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Background
In light of the recent passage of the Futures Trading Practices Act
of 1992, 102 Cong., 2d Sees., Public Law 102-546 (Oct. 28, 1992), which
amended the Commodity Exchange Act, the Commission has determined that
17 CFR part 148, Implementation of the Equal Access to Justice Act in
Covered Adjudicatory Proceedings Before the Commission, should be
amended to reflect the changes in the Commodity Exchange Act resulting
from the Futures Trading Practices Act of 1992.
Need for Correction
As published, the regulations contain a reference to a designation
of a statutory provision which has been changed and which is in need of
clarification.

Accordingly, 17 CFR part 148 is amended by making the following
conforming amendment:
PART 148--IMPLEMENTATION OF THE EQUAL ACCESS TO JUSTICE ACT IN
COVERED ADJUDICATORY PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE COMMISSION
Sec. 148.3 [Amended]
1. In Sec. 148.3(a) the phrase ``or contract market designations
pursuant to section 6 of the Commodity Exchange Act, 7 U.S.C. 8,'' is
revised to read ``or contract market designations pursuant to section
6(a) of the Commodity Exchange Act, 7 U.S.C. 8 (a),''.
