Columbia Gas Transmission Corp.; Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
Tariff

May 19, 1994.
    Take notice that on May 13, 1994, Columbia Gas Transmission 
Corporation (Columbia) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1, the following proposed tariff 
sheet, to be effective April 18, 1994:

First Revised Sheet No. 458

    Columbia states that it tendered this filing in compliance with the 
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (Commission) order issued April 
14, 1994 (order) in Docket No. RP91-41, et al., which required that 
Columbia file tariff sheets which provide an opportunity to elect an 
extended amortization period of up to three years for the payment of 
Order Nos. 500/528 additional charges.
    Columbia states that copies of the filing were served upon the 
Company's jurisdictional customers and interested state commissions.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Rule 211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests should 
be filed on or before May 26, 1994. Protests will be considered by the 
Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will 
not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Copies of 
Columbia's filing are on file with the Commission and are available for 
public inspection.
