U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy; Meeting

AGENCY: United States Information Agency.

ACTION: Notice.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY: A meeting of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy 
will be held on February 9 in room 600, 301 4th Street, SW., 
Washington, DC from 9:45 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    At 9:45 a.m. the Commission will meet with Mr. Douglas Wilson, 
Director of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs to discuss 
State/USIA Authorization and pending Congressional issues. At 10:30 
a.m. the Commission will meet with Mr. Jaroslav Verner, former PAO, 
USIS Tashkent to discuss establishing USIS posts in the NIS. At 11:15 
a.m. the Commission will meet with Mr. Don Hamilton, Director, Office 
of American Republic Affairs to discuss area issues.
