AGENCY: Department of Housing and Urban Development.
ACTION: Designation of order of succession.

SUMMARY: The Manager is designating officials who may serve as Acting
Manager during the absence, disability, or vacancy in the position of
the Manager.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This designation is effective January 27, 1994.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Designation
Each of the officials appointed to the following positions is
designated to serve as Acting Manager during the absence, disability,
or vacancy in the position of the Manager, with all the powers,
functions, and duties redelegated or assigned to the Manager: Provided
that no official is authorized to serve as Acting Manager unless all
preceding listed officials in this designation are unavailable to act
by reason of absence, disability, or vacancy in the position:
1. Manager,
2. Director of Community Planning and Development,
3. Chief Counsel,
4. Director of Public Housing,
5. Director of Housing Management,
6. Director of Housing Development,
7. Director of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity.
This designation supersedes the designation effective September 20,
1993, published in the Federal Register issue of November 12, 1993 (58
FR 60047).
