    Title: Effective Dates of the Economic Performance Requirement.
    Description: The regulations provide the time and manner of making 
certain elections relating to the effective date of the economic 
performance requirement. The information is needed and will be used to 
assure compliance with the effective date provisions. All accrual basis 
taxpayers that make an election are affected by the reporting and 
recordkeeping requirements of the regulations.
    Respondents: Individuals or households, Businesses or other for-
profit, Small businesses or organizations.
    Estimated Number of Respondents/Recordkeepers: 500.
    Estimated Burden Hours Per Respondent/Recordkeeper: 3 hours.
    Frequency of Response: Other (one report required).
