AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

SUMMARY: This notice announces receipt of an application to register
the pesticide product Sovran Fungicide, containing an active ingredient
involving a changed pattern of the product pursuant to the provisions
of section 3(c)(4) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and
Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), as amended.
DATES: Written comments must be submitted by April 9, 1999.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: EPA received an application from BASF
Corporation, 26 Davis Drive, P.O. Box 13528, Research Triangle Park, NC
27709-3528, to register the pesticide product Sovran Fungicide (EPA
File Symbol 7969-RLU), containing the active ingredient kresoxim-methyl
(methyl (E)-2-methoxyimino-2-[2-(o-tolyloxymethyl) phenyl] acetate) at
50.0%. This application involves a changed use pattern for the active

ingredient pursuant to the provisions of section 3(c)(4) of the Federal
Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), as amended. In
addition to the currently registered uses, Sovran Fungicide will be
used on apples, grapes, pears, and other pome fruits and pecans. Notice
of receipt of this application does not imply a decision by the Agency
on the application.
Notice of approval or denial of an application to register a
pesticide product will be announced in the Federal Register. The
procedure for requesting data will be given in the Federal Register if
an application is approved.
Comments received within the specified time period will be
considered before a final decision is made; comments received after the
time specified will be considered only to the extent possible without
delaying processing of the application.

(including comments and data submitted electronically as described
below). A public version of this record, including printed, paper
versions of electronic comments, which does not include any information
