Yellow Water Road Site: Proposed Settlement

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency.

ACTION: Notice of proposed settlement.

SUMMARY: Under section 122(g) of the Comprehensive Environmental 
Response, Compensation and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA), as amended 
42 U.S.C. 601 et seq., the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has 
agreed to settle claims for response costs at the Yellow Water Road 
Site, Baldwin, Florida with 102 de minimis parties. The settlement 
includes 3 parties not originally identified as de minimis. Based on 
information obtained by EPA during its approval of the settlement, EPA 
has included these parties in the settlement. The inclusion of these 
parties decreases the payments required by the other de minimis 
settlers. EPA will consider public comments on the proposed de minimis 
settlement for thirty (30) days. EPA may withdraw from or modify the 
proposed settlement should such comments disclose facts or 
considerations which indicate the proposed settlement is inappropriate, 
improper, or inadequate. Copies of the proposed de minimis settlement 
and the list of parties participating are available from:

    Written comments must be submitted to the person above by thirty 
days from the date of publication.
