Correction

    In proposed rule document 98-1949, beginning on page 4408, in the 
issue of Thursday, January 29, 1998, make the following correction:


Sec. 1.743-1  [Corrected]

    On page 4419, in the table, in ``Assets'', in the fourth column 
under ``Basis adjustment'', the total ``4,000.00'' should read 
``3,000.00''.
