MATTERS TO BE CONSIDERED: The Commission will hear oral argument on the
following:
1. Amax Coal Co., LAKE 94-55 & 94-79. (Issues include whether
the judge erred in finding that accumulations on diesel-powered
equipment violated 30 CFR 75.400's prohibition against accumulations
on electrical-powered equipment.)
2. RNS Services, PENN 95-382-R, etc. (Issues include whether RNS
was engaged in ``the work of preparing coal'' within the meaning of
sections 3(h)(1) and (i) of the Mine Act.)
Any person attending this oral argument who requires special
accessibility features and/or auxiliary aids, such as sign language
interpreters, must inform the Commission in advance of those needs.
