Williams Natural Gas Company; Proposed Change in FERC Gas Tariff

March 8, 1994.
    Take notice that on March 4, 1994, Williams Natural Gas Company 
(WNG) tendered for filing Third Revised Sheet Nos. 6 and 6A to its FERC 
Gas Tariff, Second Revised Volume No. 1. The proposed effective date of 
these tariff sheets is March 1, 1994.
    WNG states that it tenders the above tariff sheets for the purpose 
of placing an interim rate reduction of approximately $12 million into 
effect pending final resolution of the general rate proceeding in this 
docket.
    WNG states that a copy of its filing was served on all participants 
listed on the Commission's official service list in this docket, as 
well as on all jurisdictional customers and interested state 
commissions.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with section 211 of 
the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211). All 
such protests should be filed on or before March 15, 1994. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
