AGENCY: Food and Drug Administration, HHS.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is withdrawing approval 
of a new animal drug application (NADA) held by I. D. Russell Co. 
Laboratories. The NADA provides for use of 10 percent sulfaquinoxaline 
powder for making animal feed and 20 percent sulfaquinoxaline liquid. 
The sponsor requested the withdrawal of approval because the products 
are no longer being marketed.

EFFECTIVE DATE: March 24, 1997.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: I. D. Russell Co. Laboratories, 1301 Iowa 
Ave., Longmont, CO 80501, is the sponsor of NADA 6-776, which provides 
for use of 10 percent sulfaquinoxaline powder for feed and 20 percent 
sulfaquinoxaline liquid. I. D. Russell Co. Laboratories requested that 
FDA withdraw approval of NADA 6-776 because the products are no longer 
being marketed.
    Therefore, under authority delegated to the Commissioner of Food 
and Drugs (21 CFR 5.10) and redelegated to the Center for Veterinary 
Medicine (21 CFR 5.84), and in accordance with Sec. 514.115 Withdrawal 
of approval of applications (21 CFR 514.115), notice is given that 
approval of NADA 6-776 and all supplements and amendments thereto is 
hereby withdrawn, effective March 24, 1997.
