Caribbean Fishery Management Council; Public Meetings
AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.
ACTION: Notice of public meetings.

SUMMARY: The Caribbean Fishery Management Council (Council) and its
Administrative Committee will hold separate meetings. The Council will
hold its 83rd regular public meeting to discuss the Draft Queen Conch
Fishery Management Plan, among other topics.
The Council will convene on March 29, 1995, from 9:00 a.m. until
5:00 p.m. and on March 30, from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 12:00
noon.
The Administrative Committee will meet on March 28, from 10:00 a.m.
until 12:00 noon, to discuss administrative matters regarding Council
operation and in closed session to discuss personnel matters at the
Council office, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Except as noted, both meetings will be held at the Conference Room
of the Travelodge Hotel, in Isla Verda, PR.
Except for the closed session above, all other meetings are open to
the public, and will be conducted in English. However, simultaneous
translation (Spanish-English) will be available during the Council
meeting (March 29 and 30). Fishers and other interested persons are
invited to attend and participate with oral or written statements
regarding agenda issues.
