National Library of Medicine; Notice of Meeting of the Board of
Scientific Counselors, National Center for Biotechnology Information,
National Library of Medicine
Pursuant to Pub. L. 92-463, notice is hereby given of the meeting
of the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Center for
Biotechnology Information, National Library of Medicine, on April 20-
21, 1995.
The meeting of April 21 will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3
p.m. in the Board Room of the Library, 8600 Rockville Pike, Bethesda,
Maryland, for the review of research and development programs and
preparation of reports of the National Center for Biotechnology
Information. Attendance by the public will be limited to space
available. Individuals who plan to attend and need special assistance,
such as sign language interpretation or other reasonable
accommodations, should contact Dr. David Lipman at 301-496-2475.
In accordance with provisions set forth in sec. 552b(c)(6), Title
5, U.S.C., and sec. 10(d) of Pub. L. 92-463, the meeting will be closed
to the public on April 20 from 7 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m., at the
Bethesda Hyatt Hotel, and on April 21, from 3 p.m. to approximately 5
p.m., in the Board Room of the National Library of Medicine, for the
consideration of personnel qualifications and performance of individual
investigators and similar items, the disclosure of which would
constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.

Center for Biotechnology Information, National Library of Medicine,
8600 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20894, telephone (301) 496-
2475, will furnish summaries of the meeting, rosters of committee
members, and substantive program information.
