Meeting of the Indian Self-Determination Negotiated Rulemaking
Committee
AGENCY: Bureau of Indian Affairs, Interior.
ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: The Secretary of the Interior (DOI) and the Secretary of
Health and Human Services (DHHS) have established an Indian Self-
Determination Negotiated Rulemaking Committee (Committee) to negotiate
and develop a proposed rule implementing the Indian Self-Determination
and Education Assistance Act (ISDEAA), Pub. L. 93-638, 25 U.S.C. 450 et
seq., as amended. The Departments have determined that the
establishment of this Committee is in the public interest and will
assist the agencies in developing regulations authorized under Section
107 of the ISDEAA.
DATES: The Committee will have its first meeting as shown below:
Tuesday, April 11, 1995, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Wednesday, April 12, 1995, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Thursday, April 13, 1995, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

the public without advanced registration. Public attendance may be
limited to the space available. Members of the public may make

written statements with the Committee for its consideration. Written
statements should be submitted to the address listed above. Summaries
of Committee meetings will be available for public inspection and
copying ten days following each meeting at the same address. In
addition, the materials received to date during the input sessions are
available for inspection and copying at the same address.
