Klamath Fishery Management Council; Meeting

AGENCY: Fish and Wildlife Service.

ACTION: Notice of meetings.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY: Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee 
Act (5 U.S.C. App. I), this notice announces meetings of the Klamath 
Fishery Management Council established under the authority of the 
Klamath River Basin Fishery Resources Restoration Act (16 U.S.C. 460ss 
et seq.). The meetings are open to the public.

DATES: The Kalamth Fishery Management Council will meet from 3 p.m. to 
5 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 1994. Further meetings may be held later in 
the week. Meeting times and locations will be announced at the April 4 
meeting and/or posted at the Pacific Fishery Management Council's 
Administrative room at the Holiday Inn--Crown Plaza.

PLACE: The meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn--Crown Plaza, 600 
Airport Blvd., Burlingame, California.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: For background information on the Management 
Council, please refer to the notice of their initial meeting that 
appeared in the Federal Register on July 8, 1987 (52 FR 25639). The 
principal agenda item will be to make fishing season and harvest area 
recommendations to the Pacific Fishery Management Council for 1994 
ocean salmon harvest management, and to make recommendations the tribes 
and the State of California for in-river salmon harvest management for 
chinook salmon originating in the Klamath River Basin.
