State of Texas; NGPA Notice of Determination by Jurisdictional
Agency Designating Tight Formation
March 14, 1994.
Take notice that on March 7, 1994, the Railroad Commission of Texas
(Texas) submitted the above-referenced notice of determination pursuant
to Sec. 271.703(c)(3) of the Commission's regulations, that the
Spraberry Trend Area Formation, Aldwell, and Merchant Units, underlying
a portion of Reagan County, Texas, qualifies as a tight formation under
section 107(b) of the Natural Gas Policy Act of 1978. The designated
area is in Railroad Commission District No. 7C and consists of
approximately 24,136 acres as described on the attached appendix.
The notice of determination also contains Texas' findings that the
referenced portion of the Spraberry Trend Area Formation meets the
requirements of the Commission's regulations set forth in 18 CFR part
271.
The application for determination is available for inspection,
except for material which is confidential under 18 CFR 275.206, at the
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE.,
Washington, DC 20426. Persons objecting to the determination may file a
protest, in accordance with 18 CFR 275.203 and 275.204, within 20 days
after the date this notice is issued by the Commission.
