National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke; Notice
of Meeting, Board of Scientific Counselors
Pursuant to Pub. L. 92-463, notice is hereby given of the meeting
of the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute of
Neurological Disorders and Stroke, Division of Intramural Research on
May 10-12, 1998, at the National Institutes of Health, Building 31,
Conference Room 6C6, 31 Center Drive, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
This meeting will be open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00
p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 11th, to discuss program
planning and program accomplishments. Attendance by the public will
be limited to space available.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in section
552b(c)(6), Title 5, U.S.C. and section 10(d) of Pub. L. 92-463, the
meeting will be closed to the public from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on
May 10th, and from 10:30 a.m. until adjournment on May 12th, for the
review, discussion and evaluation of individual programs and
projects conducted by the NINDS. The programs and discussions
include consideration of personnel qualifications and performances,
the competence of individual investigators and similar items, the
disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion
of personal privacy.
