Heavy Forged Hand Tools, Finished or Unfinished, With or Without 
Handles, From the People's Republic of China; Extension of Time Limit 
for the Final Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Reviews

AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration, 
Department of Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of extension of time limit for the final results of 
antidumping duty administrative reviews.

SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce (the Department) is extending the 
time limits of the final results of the antidumping duty administrative 
reviews of the antidumping finding on heavy forged hand tools, finished 
or unfinished, with or without handles, from the People's Republic of 
China. The period of review is February 1, 1996 through January 31, 
1997. This extension is made pursuant to section 751(a)(3)(A) of the 
Tariff Act of 1930, as amended by the Uruguay Round Agreements Act.

EFFECTIVE DATE: March 18, 1998.

Postponement

    Under the Act, the Department of Commerce (the Department) may 
extend the deadline for completion of an administrative review if it 
determines the deadline is not practicable to complete the review. The 
Department finds that it is not practicable to complete the above-
referenced review within the statutory time limit.
    In accordance with section 751(a)(3)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930, 
as amended, the Department will extend the time for completion of the 
final results of these reviews from March 12, 1998 to no later than 
March 27, 1998.
