    Proposed rule; Extension of public comment period.

    SUMMARY:

    The EPA is announcing an extension of the public comment period for the proposed rule titled “Proposed Confidentiality Determinations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Systems Source Category, and Amendments to Table A-7, of the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule”.

    DATES:

    The public comment period started on February 24, 2012 (77 FR 11039). This notice announces the extension of the deadline for public comment from March 26, 2012 to April 9, 2012. Comments must be received on or before April 9, 2012.

    In this action, EPA is providing notice that it is extending the comment period on the proposed rule titled “Proposed Confidentiality Determinations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Systems Source Category, and Amendments to Table A-7, of the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule” which was published on February 24, 2012. The current deadline for submitting public comment on that rule is March 26, 2012. EPA is extending that deadline to April 9, 2012. This extension will provide the general public additional time for public participation.
