    Nighthawk Timber Sale
    
    AGENCY: Forest Service, USDA.
    
    ACTION: Withdrawal notice for an environmental impact statement.

    SUMMARY: The notice of intent to prepare an environmental impact 
    statement for the Nighthawk Timber Sale has been withdrawn and no 
    further analysis will occur on this proposed timber sale until the 
    completion of the Medicine Bow National Forest Land and Resource 
    Management Plan revision, tentatively scheduled for early 1995.
        The analysis responded to a proposal to harvest timber and build 
    roads in the Singer Peak Roadless Area, located on the Brush Creek/
    Hayden Ranger District, Medicine Bow National Forest, Carbon County, 
    Wyoming. The notice of intent to prepare an environmental impact 
    statement was published in the Federal Register on June 17, 1992 
    (Volume 57, Number 117, Page 27017 and 27018).
